This was a project spanning the entire semester of my UI/UX Design class. It involved a complete redesign of the website and brand identity for New York Bagel, a family-owned bagel shop in Detroit. The primary goal was to modernize their aesthetic and improve user-friendliness and navigation. The images below show the New York Bagel website's existing design:
This project began by establishing a new visual identity. I first developed a new logo that revitalizes the look while paying homage to the family-owned heritage. This was completed with a new color scheme and typographic system to reflect the modern personality and ensure a cohesive style.

The next step was to begin planning a new structure and user flow. Through wireframe sketches, I planned the layout and hierarchy of 5 key pages including the menu, online ordering tool, and homepage. The focus here was to create an intuitive navigation to allow users to easily find locations, browse the menu, and complete common tasks.

The last phase involved bringing the wireframes to life through a Figma prototype, applying the new visual identity to the planned structure. This project provided valuable experience with every step of the process.
